Art Wolfe

2021 NANPA Fine Art in Nature Photography Award Recipient

Long before the genre of conservation photography was conceived, Art was practicing it. By employing artistic and journalistic styles, he documents his subjects and educates the viewer. Art’s photography career spans five decades, all seven continents, and millions of images. He has published at least one book a year since 1988, with a total of more than 100 books in eight languages at present, including his award-winning signature work The Living Wild. His images appear on three USPS stamps. A successful public television personality, Art also leads photographic tours worldwide, and his casual weekly Tequila Time with Art became a social media phenomenon during the COVID-19 pandemic.
